Section 9
Section 10 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the words “a veterinary authority” the words “an enforcement officer”;
(b)
in subsection (2), by inserting after the word “loss” the words “through the MAQIS office”; and
(c)
by substituting for subsection (3) the following subsection:
“(3) The master of any ship who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit.”.
