Section 577
Any document required to be served on a foreign company shall be sufficiently served—
(a)
if the document is addressed to the foreign company and left at or sent by post to its registered office in Malaysia;
(b)
if the document is addressed to an agent of the company and left at or sent by post to his registered address; or
(c)
in the case of a foreign company which has ceased to maintain a place of business in Malaysia, if the document is addressed to the foreign company and is left at or sent by post to its registered office in the place of its incorporation or origin.
