Section 65
Power to make regulations
The Minister may make such regulations as may be necessary or expedient for—
(a)
giving full effect to the provisions of this Act;
(b)
carrying out or achieving the objects and purposes of this Act; and
(c)
providing for any supplemental, incidental or consequential matters in relation to this Act.
(2)
The Minister may, before making such regulations—
(a)
publish a notice of his intention to make the proposed regulations;
(b)
give at least thirty days from the date of the notice to allow any submission to be made by members of the public in relation to the proposed regulations; and
(c)
give due consideration to any submission made.
(3)
The regulations made under this section may prescribe for any act or omission in contravention of the regulations to be an offence and may prescribe for penalties of a fine not exceeding one million ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
