123. Power of investigation
Feedback & supportAn Assistant Controller shall have the power to investigate the commission of any offence under this Act.

“Controller”, “Deputy Controller” and “Assistant Controller” mean persons appointed as such under section 7;
Without prejudice to the power of investigation under this
Part, an Assistant Controller investigating any commission of an offence under this Act may exercise all or any of the powers in relation to police investigation in seizable cases provided by the
Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].

Complaints to Assistant Controller 123a. (1) An Assistant Controller may, upon a complaint by a person, conduct an investigation on any person who has committed or is committing any offence under this Act.
The complaint shall specify the person against whom the complaint is made and details of the alleged offence under this
Act.
