Section 22

(1)

Nothing in this Act shall affect any right or privilege of any person (including the Government) under any written law, except in so far as that law is expressly repealed, amended or modified by or inconsistent with this Act.

(2)

Nothing in this Act shall affect the right of the Government of Malaysia (or any person deriving title from that Government) to sell, use or otherwise deal with articles forfeited under the laws relating to customs, including articles so forfeited by virtue of this Act or any written law repealed by this Act.
