Section 52
A licensee who operates and maintains any electricity supply infrastructure shall comply with any regulations made under this Enactment or the electrical infrastructure safety code or, in the absence of such regulations or code, with standards and prudent utility practices as may be determined by the Commission.
(2)
A licensee shall prepare a safety management plan dealing with matters as may be prescribed in the electrical infrastructure safety code or, in the absence of such code, with standards and prudent utility practices as may be determined by the Commission.

(3)
Any licensee who fails to prepare a safety management plan referred to in subsection (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
