Section 33
(1)
Any person guilty of a forest offence for which no other penalty is provided shall be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both such fine and imprisonment.
(2)
Where any forest offence, other than an offence under subsection (1) of section 19 or paragraph
(a)
of subsection (1) of section 20 of this Enactment, is committed –
(a)
after sunset and before sunrise; or
(b)
after a previous conviction of the offender for a like offence, the convicting Court may inflict double the penalty prescribed for such offence.
