The Committee shall keep proper accounts and other records in respect of the operations of the Fund, and shall cause to be prepared a statement of accounts in respect of each financial year.
(2)
The Committee shall cause its accounts to be audited annually by the Auditor-General.
(3)
As soon as the accounts of the Committee have been audited, but not later than six months after the end of the financial year, the Committee shall cause a copy of the audited statements of accounts to be transmitted to the Minister together with a copy of any observations made by the Auditor-General on the statement or on the accounts of the Committee.
(4)
The Minister shall cause a copy of the statement and observations transmitted to him under subsection (3) to be laid before the State Legislative Assembly.
