Section 10

Any person to whom any right or privilege of taking forest produce from a forest reserve has been granted by order made under section 12 (4) or by notification under section 14 (1) may be required to obtain from the District Forest Officer a free permit authorising the removal of such produce from the forest reserve on such conditions, consistent with the terms of such order, as the District Forest Officer may consider it necessary either generally or specifically to impose.
