Section 20
(1)
The Chief Conservator may require property marks to be placed on timber by any licence or licence agreement holder or by persons having a bona fide fiduciary interest in the timber.
(2)
Such property marks shall be of a design approved by the Chief Conservator and shall be registered for a period of not more than five years at one time in the office of the Chief Conservator and of every District Forest Officer within whose jurisdiction the marks are to be employed.
(3)
The Chief Conservator may at any time cancel the registration of any such marks.
