Section 47
―(1) The Director shall, in respect of any forest produce taken under licence, impose such cess as the Minister may approve.
(2)
Any money collected as cess under subsection (1) shall be credited to the State Consolidated Fund and accounted in the State
Consolidated Revenue Account to be applied in such manner and for such purpose as the Minister may from time to time direct.
Payment of fees 48.―(1) Fees on forest produce taken or dealt in under licence shall be payable at the rates as specified in the Second Schedule.
(2)
Fees for the issuance or renewal of a licence shall be payable at the rates as specified in the Third Schedule.
(3)
The Director may, with the approval of the Minister, exempt any person or remit any sum due under subsections (1) or (2) or both.
