Section 33
(1)
The amount of compensation, if any, payable under section 27, 28 or 30 shall be assessed by the Collector as he deems sufficient.
(2)
No compensation shall be payable by the regasification, transportation, distribution or retail licensee in respect of any tree within fifty feet of the centre line of any road constructed or maintained by the Government or by any local authority unless it is proved that the tree was in existence prior to the construction of the road.
(3)
Any person aggrieved with the Collector assessment may within twenty-one days after the assessment appeal to the Minister whose decision shall be final.
