Registration of competent person

A person who holds a Certificate of Competency and who does work or any act in relation to the Certificate shall be registered with the Commission, in the manner as the Commission may determine.
(2)
The registration under subregulation (1) shall be valid for a period of twelve months and shall be renewed annually subject to the payment of fees as prescribed in Part II of the Third Schedule.
(3)
A person who holds a Certificate of Competency shall not do any work or act which a holder of a Certificate of Competency is allowed to do if he is more than 65 years of age.
(4)
Notwithstanding subregulation (3), the age limit of a person may be waived on a year to year basis at the discretion of the Commission who may require medical evidence of fitness of the person to be certified by a registered medical practitioner.
