Section 87
(1)
For the purpose of this Part, there shall be appointed a Panel of Examiners
(“the Panel”) consisting of a Chairman, a Deputy Chairman and persons as may be appointed under regulation 88.
(2)
The Panel shall hold examination referred to in regulation 89 and may recommend to the Commission the issuance of the Certificate of Competency to candidates who have passed the examinations.
(3)
Any matter referred to the Panel shall be considered and decided by the
Chairman and at least one member of the Panel.
(4)
Notwithstanding subregulation (1), (2) or (3) the Chairman may permit one member of the Panel to conduct the examination of a Gas Fitter.
