Section 93

(2)

Any application for a registration, renewal of a registration, amendment of a registration or an exemption in relation to any supplier of goods or services or contractor for works for the purpose of Government procurement pending on the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall be dealt with under this

Act.

(3)

Any complaint or objection in relation to a registration, renewal of registration or amendment of registration pending on the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall be dealt with under the relevant instructions and circulars issued by the Treasury under the Financial Procedure Act 1957 prior to the coming into operation of this Act.

(4)

Any complaint or objection made against any procuring entity in relation to any Government procurement pending on the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall be dealt with under the relevant instructions and circulars issued by the Treasury under the Financial Procedure Act 1957 prior to the coming into operation of this Act.

(5)

Any application made to the Ministry of Finance or any procuring entity to review any procedure in relation to any

Government procurement pending on the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall be dealt with in accordance with the relevant instructions and circulars issued by the Treasury under the

Financial Procedure Act 1957 prior to the coming into operation of this Act.

(6)

Any appeal made to the Ministry of Finance in relation to any decision on Government procurement pending on the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall be dealt with in accordance with the relevant instructions and circulars issued by the Treasury under the Financial Procedure Act 1957 prior to the coming into operation of this Act.

(7)

Any Government procurement commenced by any procuring entity before the date of the coming into operation of this

Act shall be dealt with in accordance with the relevant instructions and circulars issued by the Treasury under the Financial Procedure

Act 1957 prior to the coming into operation of this Act.

(8)

Any exemptions given by the Treasury pursuant to any instructions or circulars issued by the Treasury under the

Financial Procedure Act 1957 on matters relating to Government procurement prior to the date of coming into operation of this Act shall, on the date of coming into operation of this Act, be deemed to be revoked.

(3)

Director General of Public Works
