Section 9
The Controller may refund to the licensed housing developer the deposit made under section 7(1)(a)—
(a)
subject to section 8, upon completion of the housing development, which shall mean the production of the occupancy permit (OP) issued by the appropriate authority or of the requisite
Certificate of Making Good Defects in respect of the housing accommodation comprised in the housing development, whichever is the later; or
(b)
upon the request of the licensed housing developer who does not intend to commence with such housing development for the remaining period of the licence
