Section 34
—
(1)
There shall be established a tribunal to be known as the “Tribunal for Housing Purchaser Claims”.
(2)
The Tribunal shall consist of the following members:
(a)
a Chairman;
(b)
a Deputy Chairman; and
(c)
not more than five other members, to be appointed by the Minister from amongst persons who possess a recognized legal qualification or who are members of any registered professional bodies in Sarawak and have relevant experience in the housing industry.
(3)
The appointment of a member of the Tribunal shall be for a period not exceeding three years and shall be subject to such terms and conditions as may be imposed.
(4)
A member of the Tribunal is eligible for reappointment upon the expiry of the term of his office.
