Section 39

All orders, directions, appointments, notifications, regulations and rules made under the provisions of the repealed

Ordinance and in force immediately before the appointed day shall, insofar as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this

Ordinance, be deemed to have been made under this Ordinance and shall continue in force until other provisions shall be made under this

Ordinance or until the date upon which they expire.
