Section 51
(1)
Where a
Minister is temporarily prevented from exercising his functions by sickness, absence or any other cause, the
Yang di-Pertuan Agong may direct, subject to such conditions, exceptions or qualifications (if any) as he thinks fit, that those functions shall be exercisable by another Minister; and, while the direction is in force, those functions shall be exercisable by that other
Minister accordingly.
(2)
A direction given under subsection (1) may be retrospective and may be revoked or varied by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at any time.
