Obligation of secrecy
of Iskandar Regional Development Authority Act 2007
(1)
Except for any of the purposes of this Act or for the purpose of any civil or criminal proceedings under any written law, no member, officer or servant of the Authority, member of the Approvals and Implementation Committee, member of a committee or person invited to attend any meetings of the
Authority, the Approvals and Implementation Committee or any committee shall disclose any information which has been obtained by him in the course of his duties and which is not published in pursuance of this Act.
(2)
Any person contravening subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to both.
