Section 26

in paragraph (1)(d), by substituting for the words

“by notice or otherwise” the words “by the employer”;

and

by inserting after subsection (6) the following subsection:

“(7)  For the purposes of this section, “dependant”

means—

the husband of an employee;

the wife or wives of an employee;

a child, step-child or adopted child, who is unmarried and under the age of eighteen years, of an employee; or

natural or legally adoptive father or mother of an employee.”.
