Section 29

Where a person who is an owner, licensee of a quarry or any manager of or person employed in or about a quarry commits a breach of any of the provisions of these rules which in the opinion of any Court before which the proceedings are taken was reasonably calculated to endanger the safety of life and property or to cause a dangerous accident, and an accident was caused as a result of such default or negligence such person shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding twelve months or to both.
