Section 27
Any person who -
(a)
fails to carry out quarry operations in accordance with the provisions of these rules;
(b)
contravenes or fails to observe any provision of these rules;
(c)
hinders or in any way obstructs an authorised officer in the exercise of his powers under these rules;

(d)
fails to comply with any other lawful instruction or order given by an authorised officer in the exercise of any power under these rules; or
(e)
wilfully withholds any information or conceals or prevents, or attempts to conceal or prevent any person from appearing before or being examined by an authorised officer, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit and additionally to a fine of five hundred ringgit for every day during which such offence is continued after conviction or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
