Section 9

If the promoter of any lottery, with intent to evade the duty chargeable under this Act, prepares an account in accordance with subsection 7(1) which is false in any material particular, he shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or four times the amount of the duty payable, whichever is the higher.
