Section 65

⎯(1)

Subject to this Ordinance, the Majlis shall have the power, and shall be under the duty, to collect and dispose of as the

Majlis may, with the approval of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, direct all zakat and fitrah payable in the State in accordance with Islamic Law.

(2)

All zakat and fitrah collected in accordance with this Part shall be paid into the Baitulmal but shall be accounted in a separate account of the Baitulmal.
