Any co-operative society who fails to comply with the requirements under subsections 42(2) and 43(1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one million ringgit and shall in addition, be liable to a daily fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit for every day the offence continues.
co-operative society
“co-operative society” has the same meaning as defined under section 2 of the Co-operative Societies Act 1993;
Any person who fails to comply with the requirements under section 48 or subsections 49(1), 49(2) or 50(2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one million ringgit or to imprisonment not exceeding two years or to both and shall in addition, be liable to a daily fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit for every day the offence continues.

“co-operative society” has the same meaning as defined under section 2 of the Co-operative Societies Act 1993;
