assaults, obstructs, impedes or interferes with any authorized officer in the performance of his functions under this Act;

rescues or endeavours to rescue any cocoa or the proceeds of sale of any cocoa, or any conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article seized under this Act; or

before or after any seizure causes the disappearance of or damages or destroys any cocoa, conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article in order to prevent the seizure or securing of the cocoa, conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article, commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
