Appointment of analysts

Section 54
(1)
For the purposes of this Act, the Minister may appoint analysts to examine and test any pepper or pepper product and to certify its condition, type, method of processing, quality, standard and grade.
(2)
In any prosecution for an offence under this Act, a certificate of analysis signed by an analyst shall be sufficient evidence of the facts stated in the certificate.
