Section 13
(1)
No person shall carry on any activity as—
(a)
an exporter;
(b)
an importer;
(c)
a supplier;
(d)
a grader;
(e)
a processor;
(f)
a trader;
Malaysian Timber Industry (Incorporation)
(g)
an operator; or
(h)
a jetty operator, unless he is registered in accordance with this Act.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
