(2)

Where a person prior to being a Member of Dewan Undangan Negeri was a Political Secretary (or vice versa), any period (continuous or otherwise)

during which he was a Political Secretary or a Member of Dewan Undangan Negeri, as the case may be, but not earlier than 16th September, 1963, may be taken into account for the purpose of calculating the length of his reckonable service for pension and gratuity under these Regulations.
