Section 6
(1)
It shall be lawful for the Director with the approval of the Minister to grant licences to prospect for metals or minerals subject to such terms, conditions and limitations and upon payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
(2)
For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that State land over which a licence has been issued does not thereby cease to be State land.
