Bagi maksud seksyen 10B Akta, perniagaan yang ditetapkan hendaklah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual.

PERNIAGAAN YANG DITETAPKAN

1. Perniagaan hotel, iaitu suatu perniagaan hotel, rumah inapan, rumah tumpangan, rumah rehat atau rumah pemalaman yang menawarkan penginapan atau tempat tidur untuk disewa atau apa-apa bentuk ganjaran yang lain tanpa mengira sama ada makanan atau minuman juga ditawarkan untuk jualan.

2.

Perniagaan makanan atau minuman, iaitu suatu perniagaan yang menawarkan untuk jualan apa-apa makanan atau minuman yang disediakan untuk atau dihidangkan kepada pelanggan, termasuk suatu perniagaan penghantaran makanan atau minuman kepada pelanggan.

PRICE CONTROL AND ANTI-PROFITEERING

(PRESCRIBED BUSINESS) REGULATIONS 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10B and 60

of the

Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011 [Act 723], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering

(Prescribed Business) Regulations 2017.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2018.

Prescribed business 2.

For the purposes of section 10B of the Act, the prescribed business shall be as specified in the Schedule.

PRESCRIBED BUSINESS

1.

Hotel business, that is a business of hotels, inns, boarding-houses, rest houses or lodging houses which offers lodging or sleeping accommodation for hire or any other form of reward regardless of whether food or drink is also offered for sale.

2.

Food or beverages business, that is a business which offers for sale any food or beverages prepared for or served to customers, including a business of delivering food or beverages to customers.
