Subperaturan 397(2) Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan perkataan “lima ribu ringgit” dengan perkataan “sepuluh ribu ringgit”.

FOOD ACT 1983

FOOD (AMENDMENT) (NO. 4) REGULATIONS 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Food Act 1983 [Act 281], the

Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Food (Amendment) (No. 4)

Regulations 2017.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 2017.

Amendment of regulation 4 2.

The Food Regulations 1985 [P.U. (A) 437/1985], which are referred to as the

“principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in paragraph 4(1)(c) and subregulation 4(3), by inserting after the words “A.R. (Acknowledgement of Receipt)

registered mail” the words “or by courier services with acknowledgement of receipt”.

Amendment of regulation 5 3.

Paragraph 5(c) of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting after the words “another authorised officer” the words “or by A.R. (Acknowledgement of Receipt)

registered mail or by courier services with acknowledgement of receipt”.

Amendment of regulation 397 4.

Subregulation 397(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words “five thousand ringgit” the words “ten thousand ringgit”.

Amendment of Third and Fourth Schedules 5.

The Third and Fourth Schedules to the principal Regulations are amended by inserting after the words “by A.R. registered mail” the words “/courier services with acknowledgement of receipt”.
