Pembayaran tol 3.

(1)

Seseorang pemandu kenderaan yang menggunakan—

(a)

kad prabayar yang sah;

(b)

peranti elektronik berserta kad prabayar yang sah; atau

(c)

pelekat elektronik yang sah yang telah dipasang di cermin hadapan, lampu hadapan kenderaan atau di mana-mana bahagian lain kenderaan yang telah ditentukan bagi pemasangannya, hendaklah membayar tol yang kena dibayar di bawah subperenggan 2(1) apabila melalui lorong tol yang dikhaskan di plaza tol yang ditunjukkan dalam peta dalam Jadual Kedua.

Bagi maksud pembayaran tol di bawah subperenggan (1), seseorang pemandu kenderaan hendaklah—

(a)

menyentuh kad prabayar yang sah pada mesin pembaca elektronik;

(b)

mempamerkan peranti elektronik berserta kad prabayar yang sah; atau

(c)

mempamerkan pelekat elektronik yang sah yang telah dipasang di cermin hadapan, lampu hadapan kenderaan atau di mana-mana bahagian lain kenderaan yang telah ditentukan bagi pemasangannya.

Pelekat elektronik yang telah dipasang bagi maksud subperenggan (1) tidak boleh dipindahkan atau dialihkan ke kenderaan yang lain dengan apa-apa cara sekalipun.

(5)

Seseorang pemandu kenderaan yang telah memasang pelekat elektronik yang sah tidak boleh melakukan atau menyebabkan dilakukan apa-apa ubah suaian pada pelekat elektronik itu atau apa-apa perbuatan yang boleh mengganggu fungsi pelekat elektronik itu.

“pelekat elektronik” yang disebut dalam perenggan ini ertinya suatu kad prabayar, peranti elektronik berserta kad prabayar atau pelekat elektronik sebagaimana yang diluluskan oleh Menteri dan dikeluarkan bagi maksud pembayaran tol.

Pengecualian daripada pembayaran tol 4.

Walau apa pun peruntukan Perintah ini, kenderaan yang dinyatakan dalam

Jadual Ketiga dikecualikan daripada pembayaran tol.

Timbalan Perdana Menteri.

Semua kenderaan tentera yang dimiliki oleh Kerajaan atau mana-mana angkatan pelawat yang ditafsirkan dalam Akta Angkatan Pelawat 1960

[Akta 432].

4.

Semua kenderaan Kerajaan yang digunakan semata-mata untuk tugas ambulans, tugas melawan kebakaran, tugas polis atau tugas menyelamat termasuk kenderaan pasukan penyelamat Jabatan Pertahanan Awam dan kenderaan

Jabatan Penjara semasa menjalankan tugas mengiringi banduan.

5.

Semua kenderaan bukan Kerajaan yang digunakan semata-mata untuk tugas ambulans, tugas melawan kebakaran dan tugas menyelamat.

6.

Semua motosikal beroda tiga atau beroda empat yang digunakan oleh mana-mana orang cacat.

7.

Semua kenderaan yang dimiliki oleh Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia.

Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan yang dilekatkan pada bahagian kiri dan kanan badan kenderaan itu, dan dilekatkan secara kekal dengan lampu amaran khas yang memancarkan cahaya berkelip biru pada bumbung kenderaan itu, bagi maksud menjalankan tugas penguatkuasaan.

FEDERAL ROADS (PRIVATE MANAGEMENT) ACT 1984

FEDERAL ROADS (PRIVATE MANAGEMENT) (COLLECTION OF TOLLS)

(EAST KLANG VALLEY EXPRESSWAY) ORDER 2025

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2

of the

Federal Roads (Private Management) Act 1984 [Act 306], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Private Management)

(Collection of Tolls) (East Klang Valley Expressway) Order 2025.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 25 October 2025.

Authorization to collect tolls 2.

(1)

EKVE Sdn. Bhd. is authorized for the period from 25 October 2025

to 11 February 2065 to demand, collect and retain the appropriate tolls specified in column (2) of the First Schedule at the toll plaza specified in column (1) of that

Schedule, for the use in either direction of any part of the road known as the East Klang

Valley Expressway commencing from kilometre 0.00 at coordinates N -73360.788,

E 34660.310 of the Geocentric Datum of Malaysia (GDM2000) and ending at kilometre 16.78 at coordinates N -58391.875, E 33186.605 of the Geocentric Datum of

Malaysia (GDM2000), including the Sungai Long Interchange, Sungai Long Toll Plaza,

Bandar Mahkota Cheras Interchange, Bandar Mahkota Cheras Toll Plaza, Hulu Langat

Interchange, Hulu Langat Toll Plaza, Ampang Interchange, Ampang Toll Plaza and its link roads, being a distance of 16.78 kilometre.

The roads specified in subparagraph (1) for the use of which tolls are authorized to be demanded, collected and retained are shown on the map in the Second Schedule.

Payment of toll 3.

(1)

A driver of a vehicle who uses—

(a)

a valid prepaid card;

(b)

an electronic device with a valid prepaid card; or

(c)

a valid electronic sticker which has been installed on the windscreen, headlamp of the vehicle or on any other parts of the vehicle which has been determined for installation, shall pay the amount of toll payable under subparagraph 2(1) when passing through a dedicated toll lane at the toll plaza as shown on the map in the Second Schedule.

(2)

For the purpose of payment of toll under subparagraph (1), a driver of a vehicle shall—

(a)

touch the valid prepaid card on the electronic machine reader;

(b)

display the electronic device with a valid prepaid card; or

(c)

display a valid electronic sticker which has been installed on the windscreen, headlamp of the vehicle or on any other parts of the vehicle which has been determined for installation.

(3)

A driver of a vehicle who uses the prepaid card, an electronic device with prepaid card or electronic sticker shall ensure money in the prepaid card, electronic device with prepaid card or electronic sticker is sufficient for the purpose of payment of toll.

(4)

The electronic sticker which has been installed for the purpose of subparagraph (1) shall not be transferred or moved to another vehicle in any manner whatsoever.

A driver of a vehicle who has installed a valid electronic sticker shall not do or cause to be done any modification to the electronic sticker or any act which may interfere with the function of the electronic sticker.

(6)

“Prepaid card”, “electronic device with prepaid card” or “electronic sticker”

referred to in this paragraph means a prepaid card, an electronic device with prepaid card or an electronic sticker as approved by the Minister and issued for the purpose of payment of toll.

Exemption from payment of toll 4.

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Order, the vehicles specified in the

Third Schedule are exempted from payment of toll.

EXEMPTED VEHICLES

1.

Any vehicle carrying the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or the Raja Permaisuri Agong, the Rulers or their consorts, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the States of Malacca,

Penang, Sabah and Sarawak or their wives, Dato’ Undang Negeri Sembilan or the Tengku Besar Tampin or their wives, the Tengku Mahkota or the Raja Muda of any State or their wives, the Raja Di-Hilir of Perak or his wife, or any visiting foreign dignitary.

2.

Any

Government vehicle carrying the

Prime

Minister or the

Deputy Prime Minister.

3.

All military vehicles belonging to the Government or to any visiting force as defined in the Visiting Force Act 1960 [Act 432].

4.

All Government vehicles solely engaged in ambulance duties, fire fighting duties, police duties or rescue duties inclusive of rescue team vehicles of the

Civil Defence Department and vehicles of the Prison Department whilst on prisoner’s escort duties.

5.

All vehicles not being Government vehicles solely engaged in ambulance duties, fire fighting duties and rescue duties.

6.

All three-wheeled or four-wheeled motorcycles used by any handicapped person.

7.

All vehicles belonging to the Highway Authority Malaysia.

Any Government vehicle bearing the official emblem of the Road Transport

Department affixed on the left and right sides of the vehicle’s body, and permanently affixed with a special warning lamp emitting a blue flashing light on the roof of the vehicle, for the purpose of conducting enforcement duties.
