OPTICAL ACT 1991

OPTICAL (AMENDMENT OF FIRST AND SECOND SCHEDULES) ORDER 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Optical Act 1991 [Act 469], the Minister, after consulting the Council, makes the following order:

Citation 1.

This order may be cited as the Optical (Amendment of First and Second

Schedules) Order 2017.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Optical Act 1991, which is referred to as the “principal Act” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule relating to the country of “United Kingdom”, by inserting after the item “The Association of British Dispensing Opticians” and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:

“(Not recognized after 1 January 2018)”.
