Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsections 153(1) and (2) of the Education Act 1996 [Act 550] read together with Part VIII of the Yayasan Guru Tun Hussein Onn Act 2014 [Act 763], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Minister of Finance, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Education (Teachers Provident Fund)

(Winding Up) Order 2017.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 16 January 2017.

Winding up 2.

The Teachers Provident Fund established under the Teachers Provident Fund

Rules 1962 [L.N 29/1962] is wound up.
