Section 53A
Possession or use of unregistered pesticides and unapproved use of pesticides
(a)
possess or use a pesticide that is not for the time being registered under this Act; or
(b)
use a pesticide otherwise than in accordance with the uses stipulated on the label, as approved by the Board.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on a first conviction, to imprisonment for one year or to a fine of ten thousand ringgit and, on a second or subsequent conviction, to imprisonment for three years or to a fine of twenty thousand ringgit or to both.
