Section 58C
—
(1)
Where any goods or any other thing has been seized or detained pursuant to section 58B is of a perishable nature, the general manager may, by order in writing, direct the goods or such other thing to be sold or to be disposed of in such manner as he deems fit.
(2)
A proper account of the proceeds of sale shall be kept and held by the general manager pending the completion of any investigation, prosecution or proceedings in respect of the offence for which the goods or such other thing was seized or detained.
