  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2(1) of the Central Bank of Malaysia Act 2009 [Act 701] in the definition of “financial institution” in paragraph (b), the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Central Bank of Malaysia

(Prescribed Financial Institution) Order 2017.

This Order comes into operation on 15 May 2017.

The Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad is prescribed as financial institution for the purposes of section 49 of the Central Bank of Malaysia Act 2009.
