Jenis khidmat masyarakat yang hendaklah dilaksanakan di bawah suatu perintah khidmat masyarakat yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen 77B(1) Akta hendaklah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual.

Pelaksanaan khidmat masyarakat di bawah suatu perintah khidmat masyarakat yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen 77B(1) Akta hendaklah diawasi oleh pegawai diberi kuasa mengikut cara yang berikut:

SOLID WASTE AND PUBLIC CLEANSING MANAGEMENT (TYPE OF COMMUNITY

SERVICE AND MANNER OF SUPERVISION OF PERFORMANCE OF COMMUNITY

SERVICE) REGULATIONS 2025

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 108(2)(sa) and (sb) of the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007 [Act 672], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing

Management (Type of Community Service and Manner of Supervision of

Performance of Community Service) Regulations 2025.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2026.

Type of community service 2.

The type of community service to be performed under a community service order made under subsection 77B(1) of the Act shall be as specified in the Schedule.

Supervision by authorized officer 3.

The performance of a community service under a community service order made under subsection 77B(1) of the Act shall be supervised by an authorized officer in the following manner:

(a)

to give briefing on the scope and procedures of the performance of a community service;

(b)

to demonstrate the proper and safe use of every equipment;

(c)

to explain the safety procedures before performing a community service;

(d)

to ensure the safety control measures are taken, including providing the warning sign, gloves, face masks and safety jackets;

(e)

to monitor the performance of a community service;

(f)

to record the attendance and performance of a community service; and

(g)

to prepare a report on the performance of a community service.
