Subject to this Ordinance, the several days mentioned in the
of Public Holidays Ordinance, 1946

Section 3
First and Second Schedules, hereinafter referred to as public holidays, shall be kept as public holidays in Sarawak:
Provided that, if any of the public holidays mentioned in the
Second Schedule does not fall on a Monday, such public holiday shall be kept on the nearest Monday thereto.
