Section 5

The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, by notification in the

Gazette, at any time appoint a special day to be observed as a public holiday in addition to, or in substitution for, any of the days mentioned in the First or Second Schedule, and thereupon this

Ordinance shall be applicable to such day in the same manner as if the said day had been mentioned in the appropriate Schedule.
