Powers of the police in investigation
Every police officer making an investigation under this Act may exercise any or all of the special powers in relation to police investigation in seizable cases conferred on such police officer by Chapter XIII of the
Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593], and sections 112 to 114 of that Code shall apply to statements made by persons examined in the course of such investigation.

Where any offence against this is committed or suspected to have been committed within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur or the
Federal Territory of Putrajaya, a traffic warden shall have power to require, whether orally or in writing, any person to supply him any information and any person who fails to supply such information or supplies any information which he has reason to believe to be false shall be guilty of an offence.
