Appointment of managing agent
of Sarawak Heritage Ordinance, 2019

Subject to any directions that may be issued by the
Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri, the Director may, with the approval of the Minister, appoint any person as a managing agent—
(a)
to build, manage or maintain—
(i)
any of the building and facilities of State
Government museums; or 16
(ii)
any historical site or historical monument declared under this Ordinance; or
(b)
to undertake the provision of services, within State
Government museums.
(2)
Such appointment shall be regulated by an agreement between the Director on behalf of the Government and the person to be appointed under subsection (1), which shall set out the duties and responsibilities of the managing agent and the terms, conditions and duration of his appointment.
