Section 29

(1)
The Director may, with the approval of the Minister, authorize the sale of any antiquity or historical object which is the property of the Government and which, in the opinion of the Director, is not required for the State Government museums or is not required to be preserved as a heritage of the people.
(2)
A record of each such sale shall be kept by the Director, and every antiquity or historical object so purchased from the Director shall be deemed to have been duly registered under Part III.
