Section 27
—
(1)
Except for any of the purpose of this Ordinance or for any civil or criminal proceedings under any written law, no member, officer or employee of the Board shall disclose any information classified as confidential or secret which has been obtained by him in the course of his duties and which he has not been authorized by the
Board, generally or in any special case, to disclose.
(2)
Any person contravening subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine of five thousand ringgit or imprisonment for one year or both.
