Section 47
(1)
Notwithstanding that the amount or value of the subject matter claimed or in issue exceeds fifty thousand ringgit, the Tribunal shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine the claim if the parties have entered into an agreement in writing that the Tribunal shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine the claim.
(2)
An agreement may be made under subsection (1)—
(a)
before a claim is lodged under section 44; or
(b)
where a claim has been lodged under section 44, at any time before the Tribunal has recorded an agreed settlement in respect of the claim under subsection 52(3) or has determined the claim under section 57, as the case may be.
