Section 41
(1)
An employee upon whom the punishment of deferment of increment is imposed may, however, apply to the Disciplinary Authority for a remission of the punishment. The said application may be made at any time not earlier than three years from the date on which the punishment expires.
(2)
To earn a remission, it shall be necessary for the work and conduct to have so improved as to have earned a positive recommendation from the Head of Division to the
Disciplinary Authority that the remission applied for should be approved.

(3)
Under no circumstances shall any remission of this punishment restore any loss of seniority to the employee.
