Section 33

Where criminal proceedings against an employee result in his conviction, or where his appeal against his conviction has been dismissed, the Head of Division concerned shall apply to the Registrar or Senior Assistant Registrar of the relevant Court for a copy of the judgment of the Court. Upon receipt of the said judgment, the Head of Division shall submit the same to the Disciplinary Authority together with full particulars of the employee's past record of service and recommendation of the General Manager as to whether the employee should be dismissed from the service or otherwise dealt with depending on the nature and gravity of the offence committed in relation to the degree of disrepute which it brings to the statutory body.
