Section 65

either admit or deny every material allegation of the fact in the statement of claim;

state concisely any new facts on which the defendant relies by way of defence; and

raise concisely and without argument any necessary matters of law.

A denial under subsection (1)(a) shall not be evasive but shall answer the point of substance.
